IonLife Represented at the Arnold Fitness EXPO

IonLife played a role at The Arnold Fitness EXPO March 5, 6, 7, & 8. Paul Barattiero, VP Sales & Marketing, was at the event with IonLife’s new tradeshow booth and information for all attending the event. The expo offered a unique assembly of gym owners, sports/fitness fans, and the biggest names in fitness equipment, apparel, training tools, and supplements. Each year the event grows in size and entertainment variety on the Arnold Fitness EXPO stage. 650 booth spaces made up the Arnold Fitness EXPO and represented the greatest leaders of the fitness industry and an international array of health and exercise professionals. The 3-day annual EXPO offered the consistent purchasing power of 165,000 visitors and 17,000 athletes. IonLife was able to let people know who we are, get our product out there, and get more people drinking the water!

Replicated Websites are Coming!

Dealer Website Compliance Mandate

As the water ionizer industry is now getting larger and more visible, it will only be a matter of time before water ionizer companies are checked for compliance. Those importers not working closely with their dealer network will risk being shut down or fined, and IonLife is in this for the long haul.

As an Ionlife dealer, you agree that any promotion of IonLife products (through electronic or printed medias etc.) has to get pre-approval by the designated IonLife Compliance Officer before being made public. We are currently in the process of reviewing our dealer websites and will be contacting those of you who are not complying with the requirements regarding the effects of drinking ionized water. Please use the following guidelines to make sure your website is in compliance.

No mention of water from ionizers helping with or curing diseases - especially Arthritis or Asthma, Bone Loss or Bone Density, Cancer, Diabetes, Osteoporosis, or Weight Loss.

Yes, it is okay to use words like increased energy, feeling better, greater wellness and improves hydration etc.

Anyone found in non-compliance, who does not change the information on their site once notified by IonLife, may risk losing their dealership privileges.

Spring is on its way; bringing with it the Venus!

Our new water ionizer, the Venus, is on its way to our warehouse and will be ready for sales in April. The Venus is a replacement for the Microlite, with new upgrades and features making it more comparable to the Melody. Great news is that the dealer price will be the same as for the Microlite now with RRP about $1075!

Natural Products Expo in Anaheim, California

The 29th annual Natural Products Expo West/Supply Expo was held March 5-8, 2009 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. It engaged more than 53,000 active industry members! This is up from last year’s record breaking event, despite a sluggish economy. The event showcased the newest and most innovative products in natural, organic and healthy living. This was IonLife’s fourth year in attendance. There were over 1,900 exhibiting companies representing 28 different countries.

Discontinuance of the Microlite

We will no longer be carrying the Microlite. The Microlite is a top proven performer but we need to remove it from our lineup to make room for new models. New offerings this year will provide affordable solutions to your customers with the same excellent Jupiter quality and support. And for all current Microlite owners, we will continue to offer replacement parts, filters, and honor all warranties as always.

EmcoTech Visit to IonLife March 10 and 11.

Emco Tech representatives from our manufacturer in Korea visited IonLife Headquarters in Reno March 11-12. Mr. Dustin Choi and Mr. Darren Chapman met with management for a couple of days. In addition to meeting with our executive staff, they also took the time to connect with our day to day employees. This was a very productive meeting which promises many exciting things to come in the future!
