An Alternative Theory on Bone Health

The science of osteoporosis and its resultant fractures has long been plagued by some vexing observations. Why, for example, are osteoporotic fractures relatively rare in Asian countries like Japan, where people live as long or longer than Americans and consume almost no calcium-rich dairy products?

Why, in Western countries that consume the most dairy foods, are rates of osteoporotic fractures among the highest in the world? And why has no consistent link been found between the amount of calcium people consume and protection against osteoporosis?

An alternative theory of bone health may — or may not — explain these apparent contradictions. It is the theory of low-acid eating, a diet laden with fruits and vegetables but relatively low in acid-producing protein and moderate in cereal grains. Its proponents suggest that this menu plan could lead to stronger bones than the typical American diet rich in dairy products and animal protein, often enhanced by calcium supplements.

IonLife Holiday Hours

Please note that IonLife will be closed on the following days:

Thursday December 24th and Friday December 25th, with normal hours resuming on Monday December 28th.

Thursday December 31st and Friday January 1st, with normal hours resuming on Monday January 4th, 2010.

Please also note that many of our staff members will be taking extra time off to spend with their families and there may be times between Christmas and New Years that we will be running on limited staff. Ground Shipping: Orders in by 2PM PST by Monday December 14th

3 Day Select: Orders in by 2PM PST by Thursday December 17th

2 Day Air: Orders in by 2PM PST by Friday December 18th

Next Day Air: Orders in by 2PM PST by Monday December 21st

Financing Updates

Many people have begun asking for more information on the financing program provided by our licensed finance company. Return Policy

Please remember that the 60 money back guarantee is our agreement with you the dealer, as you are our customer. If your customer chooses to return a unit, it must be authorized and refunded by you to them.

If you choose to return the machine back to us, and it is within the 60 day window, you can then call our Technical Department at 1-800-875-9025 option 5, or 775-851-9451 option 5, to receive an RMA # and further instructions to process the return.

If your customer calls us directly to return a unit, they will be referred back to you.

Shopping Cart Deactivations

Per last month’s newsletter, if you have not returned your updated wholesale agreement your online shopping cart was disabled on December 1, 2009, until you have completed and sent in your updated agreement.
