For those of you who have not heard by now, IonLife and IonWays will be merging into one company, known as IonWays,. Below is a copy of the email that was sent out on June 7th. We will keep you updated with new information and announcements as they become available! Until then, consider it “business as usual”!
“Dear IonLife Dealers,
For those of you who may not be aware, here is a brief company history on IonLife:
IonLife was formed in 2003 by David Forsyth & Sylvie Moonjay in Maui, Hawaii as a retailer and wholesaler of Emco Tech water ionizers. In 2005 Jay Hare joined the IonLife team and helped quintuple annual sales.
Then, in 2007, seeing the opportunity for selling ionizers via network marketing, IonWays launched.
Since its inception, IonWays distributors and IonLife dealers have sometimes experienced conflicts around product availability/pricing, branding, exclusivity, commissions, overrides, marketing plans and restrictions.
Bottom line: The field asked, and corporate has responded!
Beginning immediately, steps are being taken to only have IonWays as the corporate brand, resulting in a more streamlined and focused organization. This merger will take time and is expected to occur in the fall.
What this means is that as an existing IonLife dealer:
a) You will still be able to still buy at wholesale rates and sell at retail without having to be involved in the network marketing (unless you want to).
b) You will now to able to sell the full range of Jupiter water ionizers available in the USA including the Delphi and Athena models.
c) You will be able to sell IonWays consumable products.
d) You will be able to sell new products as they are added to the existing IonWays lineup.
e) You will receive greatly improved dealer support materials, tools, and training.
These and other steps will create wonderful new opportunities for all existing IonLife dealers.
Corporate is keenly focused on making this merger occur smoothly. Again responding to your requests, all dealers will have additional, exciting, new, and enhanced sales marketing and support tools that are currently being worked on.
We're appreciative of all of your efforts and feedback and ask, in advance, for a little patience and understanding as we orchestrate the marriage of these two amazing companies.
Wishing you the best of success,
David Forsyth, CEO
Rick Wright, COO
